I have recently had my replacement entrance door and window installed for my elderly mother. The selection of a suitable company to supply and fit these was of great importance to me as I live a considerable distance from her home in Yeovil. I needed to be confident that the product would be high quality, the fitting to a high standard, and the price competitive.

Having previously had a couple of replacement sealed units supplied and fitted for her by Village Conservatories, I was confident in both their products offering and their service, and asked them to quote for the work. The quote was provided very quickly, and at a perfectly acceptable price. However, the thing that decided it for me was their overall approach to service and the knowledge that my mother was comfortable having their staff and fitters in the house. Consequently, I did not feel the need to look elsewhere, and am in any case, a great believer in supporting local business wherever possible.

Village Conservatories have been a rare find! From the outset Colin Dicker and his wife Rachel, the proprietors, have been helpful, attentive, trustworthy and 100% professional.

Colin´s first visit was prompt and following that he provided comprehensive paperwork and a quote, which incorporated everything we had discussed. We were pleasantly surprised at the quote and decided to go ahead with our new orangery, which incorporated an aluminium lantern and hardwood bi-fold doors.

We were kept fully up-to-date, by Colin and Rachel, regarding manufacturing progress, stage payments and forward planning. The tradesman involved in the erection of the orangery, managed by Colin, were fully professional and the site was kept clean and tidy at all times.

The completed building is just what we wanted, exactly what we had imagined, built and finished to the highest of standards and on budget.

Mr Dicker originally built our conservatory and, more recently, his team have replaced a large window in our garage. I am pleased to put on record that the quality and finish of all the work completed has been superb.
